I am Mrs. Lissa R. Brown, a Family and Consumer Science Teacher . My subject areas are Food Nutrition and Wellness, Food for Life, Family and Consumer Science as well, Food Science and Intro to Culinary Arts. This Independent Teacher , still focusing on education , now with public and community health as my main focus . After the Covid epidemic we must focus on where or who provides our food. With the soaring prices of food not we must be resourceful and go back to the basics. You do not have to own a farm to grow food only the knowledge how and when. If you do not want to grow your own seedling allow me to provide them for you and provide you how you can purchase your seedling plant your new garden with my help and knowledge. I am asking you to follow my journey to empowering individuals and families to become self-sufficient through accessible and practical workshops that focus on essential home economics skills, fostering sustainability and resilience.
Sustainable Learning Lab, LLC, will provide direct workshops that will include growing food, preserving food, Fermentation , and homesteading . These traditional home skills will improve your quality of life.
